Thanks and Good bye

After reading the post from last Saturday it is still hard to believe that Dad is gone, what a great visit we had. That made that call we received Saturday night even more unexpected. We would like to thank all of you who have been so concerned and shown such great support to Dad and the family over the past month, and this last week especially. While the world has lost a great man, the fact is that it is truly a much better place because he was here, the best thing that we can do to honor him is to continue on the path that he guided us to. Here is a link to his memorial page,

We love you Dad.

CCU Take 2

After not being able to get his breath Wed. afternoon, Rex took an EMS ride back to Parkview, where they found significant fluid build up in and around his lungs. That earned him another stay in the CCU, where the nursing staff was glad to see him, but not glad that he was having more issues. As of today, he is feeling much better, the fluid is gone, and tubes are being taken out instead of being put in. His kidney output has improved and he seems to be on the mend, again. This time we are hoping that he stays fixed. Thanks everyone for the concern and prayers.
